Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada, an Afghan American actress in the United States who has appeared in several TV shows. She was raised in Northern Virginia and is the middle child from two siblings. The middle sister of her mother took care of her in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada started her career in television by appearing in several National Commercials. In the Laura Neri film A Kiss on the Nose (2004) Ghanizada played the lead role in Chiara an appearance for which she received a film festival best actress nomination. She's appeared in TV shows such as How I Met Your Mother as well as Entourage, Veronica Mars, The Wedding Bells NuMB3RS Bones Psych and Castle. In the past, she was a supporting character for the film Blood Shot (2009). She also appeared as an uninvolved comedian in You Only Better 2009. Ghanizada was first seen in the General Hospital Prime-Time spinoff General Hospital. In season 2, Night Shift, Ghanizada played the role of Dr. Saira Bhatra who is a holistic doctor.
